Sehaj Sethi is an Indian American screenwriter currently developing the tv adaptation of the novel CITY OF GHOSTS with David Lowery for Fox Searchlight TV. She is also in development on an animated series for Nickelodeon and Paramount+, as well as partnering with I Can & I Will Productions on her series BAD BETIS, produced by Gina Rodriguez. In features, she is in development on her directorial debut EVERYTHING IS FINE, produced by Antonio Campos.


Sehaj is a co-producer on the CW show THE WINCHESTERS and is attached to write THE YELLOW WALLPAPER, a feature adaptation of the short story written by Charlotte Perkins Gilman and produced by Foton Pictures, Black Bar Mitzvah, and Rehab Entertainment. She previously wrote for three seasons on the CW's TWO SENTENCE HORROR STORIES and earlier worked as a writer at Luma Pictures, focusing on sci-fi feature projects. Early in her writing career, she partnered on a horror feature with Paperclip Ltd., produced by Yeardley Smith.

Sehaj has been awarded fellowships by Almanack Screenwriters, the Anderson Center, and the New Orleans Writers Residency.

She is represented by Corrine Aquino at Artists First and Lauren Szurgot, Matt Balick, and Nikki Montazaran at WME.
